Ranking Systems

At Kenpo Karate Studios every beginning student commmences his programs by wearing a White belt. The first belt rank of   any distinction  is  the  Yellow belt.
The entire belt is yellow with no other  attached  designation. The second promotion:  Advanced Yellow entitles the student to wear an Orange stripe on his yellow belt.
Each  Color  belt  thereafter  up  to  Green  is divided in two stages: Regular (plain)
and Advanced (designated by a strip of  the next corresponding color).
